Welcome to Pelican Handyman Services, Inc. (“Pelican Handyman,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By scheduling or receiving services from us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.

1. Services

Pelican Handyman Services, Inc. provides general handyman, repair, and maintenance services.
Specific details, materials, and pricing for each project will be outlined in a written estimate or service agreement.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service due to unsafe conditions, code violations, or requests beyond our licensed scope of work.

2. Estimates & Pricing

  • Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection.

  • Pricing is subject to adjustment if additional work or materials are required.

  • All estimates are valid for 30 days from the issue date.

  • Any additional services beyond the agreed scope will be billed separately.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full upon job completion unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Deposit is required to reserve calendar and begin work.

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, check, or approved electronic transfer.

  • Late payments may incur a 2% monthly finance charge or the maximum allowed by law.

  • Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee plus any applicable bank charges.

4. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Appointments must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a service call fee.

  • While we strive for punctuality, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. Customers will be notified promptly of any schedule changes.

5. Materials & Warranties

  • We use high-quality, professional-grade materials and tools.

  • All workmanship is guaranteed for 90 days from the date of completion unless otherwise specified.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to materials supplied by Pelican Handyman Services, Inc.

  • Warranty is void if the work is modified, misused, or damaged by others after completion.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area.

  • Secure pets, valuables, and personal belongings before service begins.

  • Pelican Handyman Services, Inc. is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or prior work performed by others.

7. Liability & Insurance

  • Pelican Handyman Services, Inc. maintains appropriate business liability insurance.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of use or property value.

  • Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pelican Handyman Services, Inc. from any claims arising from unsafe conditions or customer negligence.

8. Permits & Code Compliance

  • Customers are responsible for obtaining any required permits unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We comply with applicable codes but are not responsible for pre-existing violations or previous non-compliant work.

9. Photos & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos for documentation and marketing purposes.
No identifying information about the customer or property will be shared without consent.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice if obligations are not met.
Customer remains responsible for payment for work completed up to the termination date.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the county where Pelican Handyman Services, Inc. is headquartered.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling a service, approving an estimate, or paying an invoice, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
